The Shackled City

We were given a quest to find the Last son of a Cursed dwarf We are currently in the Underdark, doing battle with Koa-Toans in their vile Temple to some Evil Goddess.
The party had been invited to a Dinner with a [[ to be added later. I forgot her name]] in a Club for Nobles called “The Cusp of Sunrise” Our Cleric had made a powerful friend in a Nobleman Again added later. We met with our host and an aging dwarf who told us he had befallen a curse. He need to reconcile with his sons in order to break it. He needed to do so with his last son, who had vanished in the Underdark on a quest to purge it of evil. He promised us much gold or the forging of equipment by the finest dwarf smiths.
We made for a Hermit, who we were informed would know the location of an entrance into the Underdark, as the passages we knew of had been caved in by a rival Adventuring party. On our first attempt to find this Hermit, Our Ranger attacked a Giant Roc. It was a hard fought battle that ended with Said companion dead. We turned to head back to town and have our friend raised from the dead. Our Cleric believed it would be on our best interest to bring theRoc, which was alive but knocked out, and action it off to the city.
We raised our friend and held an action with outside the city for the nobles. We managed to sell the Roc to The noble our cleric had befriended. As an added bonus we hired a powerful ranger to train the beast for our Noble friend. He was greatly appreciative. With that chore done, we made for the hermit’s location again. This time we made it to his home to find it under siege by a Young Red Dragon. We immediately set to slaying the beast. It was another challenging battle but even with several terrible wounds we defeated the foul beast and saved the Hermit. With that done, we skinned the dragon and took the head as a prize. In town we made it into armor which we sold to the Nobleman we sold the Roc to. He showered us with praise and some money. Once back to the hermit he directed us to a great hole in the ground known as the “Pit of Seven Jaws.” We wondered as to this name, until we descended. The Cleric and Paladin were immediately beset upon by a CryoHydra, A large beast with seven heads that spat gouts of chilling cold. The cleric charged the beast and slew it mightily. Taking heads for trophies.
Beyond the pit where the Hydra nested we found a massive cavern. We followed into it and were beset by Ghouls. The Paladin was slain by their foul paralyzing touch but the battle was won. The party returned to Town to revive him and stock up on items and scrolls to prevent such situations again. Again returning to the Caverns we had made it to another room, this one just as large as the last, but filled with water along the bottom. Across the waters stood a monolithic Face of a Koa-Toan carved into a building. This we knew to be their lair. We set for the shore, and with the help of our powerful spellcaster we flew over the waters, checking for traps and monsters. We found not but a lowly Koa-Toan boatman who offered to ferry us across the waters. not wishing to cause a scene, we accepted. As we ascended the stairs we were beset by Guards who shot down on us from the eyes of the Face, which also served as the entrance to their Temple. We slew them and stormed the temple, fighting more guards, Shamans, a Flying Devil of some kind and their Head shaman.
Still no sign of the Dwarf, and time is steadily running short.
